Making 10 minutes video tutorial using camtasia was one of our major assignment. i was worried at first about how to do it and was nervous as we did not do this type of assignment before.
I wondered a lot about how it could be, whether I will be able to do this, and how difficult it be.
Finally when the time came to get done with this video assignment I could come with quite a good video tutorial. With the help of the sample video uploaded by out tutor and by asking help from my friends. my video tutorial was based on the topic assigned to us. I made video tutorial for class VI English on the topic No more water (poem).
While doing the assignment I could gain a lot of new knowledge as I got myself browsing a lot to search for information using different sources to come up with my presentation slide, using power point presentation I inserted all the required images, text and animations for I have to use it to create my video tutorial. At times I faced a lot of difficulties as it was not that easy to create our own video lesson. It was challenging for me to record the video I had to retake for several times and it was so tiring.
But when I finally completed my assignment I got a whole lot of new knowledge which was very important in my life. As a future teacher this will be of a great help. It serves as a informative to to the viewers or the audience as we can convey a lot of knowledge and ideas by using this software (camtasia). I am thankful that I got this opportunity to do the assignment, this skill will help me to teach my students in a different and in interesting way when I go to teaching field. It will make teaching and learning effective.
